Art Guidelines
Please supply layouts in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and/or Photoshop CS2 for Apple OSX.Please supply artwork for each panel to scale, at 25% of the final output size. Final output size should be a minimum of 100 dpi at full size. Please add 2” bleed to the top and bottom of your layouts for creation of the pole pockets.Please supply all fonts where possible as outline vectors. In all other cases, use only Type 1 PostScript fonts and supply them in a linked folder. Include any embedded fonts within imported Illustrator files. Do not use TrueType (Type 3) or Multiple Master fonts.Please specify all solid colors as Pantone PMS references.Any scans should be supplied at 100% size in the picture box specified within InDesign. All scans are to have a minimum of 300 dpi resolution and must be saved at 8-bit CMYK images in .TIF or .EPS format.
Finish banner visual area is 72”H x 48”W. Artwork size is 12” x 18”.Non-safe type areas: Where the pocket is formed. Located 2” in from top and bottom edges.
Finishing InstructionsStep 1 – Trim out banner leaving an extra 2” on either end to create pockets for the flat or curved battens.Step 2 – Apply double-sided tape and fold over excess to create pocket, or fold over and sew.Step 3 – Use the batten to mark the hold positions correctly. Punch 3/8” diameter holes in pockets.
