Art Format Guidelines

For Dye Sublimation Imprinting on SD219, SD218, SD061, SD337, SD338, SD339, SD340, SD337A, SD337B, SD337C, SD337D, SD337E, SD337F, SD337G, B2000, EZ75.

Acceptable File Formats:
Vector - Adobe Illustrator (.ai, .pdf, .eps).
Raster - Adobe Photoshop (.psd, .tif, .jpg.)
100 DPI at 100%.

PMS color matching is not guaranteed.

Dye Sub products are printed CMYK (4 color) process from your file.

If file has been saved as RGB, art will be converted to CMYK.

All images must be embedded and all fonts must be outlined.

Graphics must be to size.

What are Vector and Raster Graphics?

Vector graphics are made up of lines and curves defined by mathematical objects called vectors. They are resolution independent. Therefore, they can be scaled to any size without loss of quality. Text should be converted to outlines, paths or curves, when sending vector files to another location.

Raster graphics are made up of squares of color called pixels. These files will lose definition if they are enlarged. That is why we ask for Photoshop files at 100 dpi (dots per inch) to be 100% to size.

Total Graphic Sizes for Sail Banners:

SD219 (14’ Banner) – 46”W x 132”H.

SD218 (11’ Banner) – 29.25”W x 84”H.

SD061 (Table Banner) – 4”W x 10”H.

Special Graphic Guidelines for Collage Displays:

Keep all text and/or logos 1/2” from all sides.

Allow a 1/2” button hole in each corner of the graphic.
